How to do Punjab Nursing Council Registration (PNRC)



Punjab Nursing Registration Council also known as PNRC is in function since many years, and the number of registered nurses are increasing each year compared to previous days. Mrs. Surjit Kaur is the present registrar and she ensures the registration and proper control of nurses and other health care workers. . It helps to improve the  professional standards by preventing an unregistered person from practicing nursing.

PNRC Registration Process

As mentioned before, to register with PNRC you should submit xerox copy of documents like,
  1. Provisional Degree Certificate
  2. Course Completion Certificate
  3. Mark lists
  4. Plus 2 Certificate/ Higher secondary Certificate
  5. S.S.L.C / 10th 
  6. Passport size photos attested by the head of the institution.
  7. Fee

Fee for Registration

MSc Nursing- Rs. 2000/-
BSc Nursing- Rs. 1000/-
G.N.M- Rs. 1000/-

Fee for Diploma Certificate

G.N.M- Rs. 500/-

I am posting a comment from SONU, hope it will help many of you.

As we know applying Good Standing at PNRC can be big hassle and they takes forever . I have checked a website that actually says that they provide fast service for Good standing and they have helped me with the same process just in 9 days . I am dropping a website so that everyone struggling with PNRC can get help www.nurseshub.co.in . Thank you sonu.

    1. Hi Geetha, to my knowledge PNRC does not have any online service. To get an NOC you can apply through post or in person. It is always better to contact the council before you send a request because you need to pay certain amount for a NOC.

  2. The phone lines are always dead, i needed to get higher evaluation but dont know their process now i have to go to chandigarh and ask enquire

    1. Hi Sibin, the address for PNRC has been changed, might be the phone number also. It is not updated in the site, so if you know any one there try to get the new no, else send a mail to registrar, id is given in the blog post.

  3. The given email I'd is useless. They don't respond. It's been a month since I have applied for a good standing certificate and still pending. I applied through post with DD included. I wonder whether they will issue the certificate before the timeline.

    1. Hi Smruthi, I hope you have mailed to the new postal address which they have given. Anyway try this no, I am not sure about it's authenticity. If it work it can help many- Registrar : Mrs Surjit Kaur +919417312112 and another staff member of the council- Ms Surinder Kaur 94641-21846.
