    1. You can get a Good standing certificate from TNC, and DHA will accept it. Good standing certificate is valid for 6 months only and it is advisable to get it from the state you have last worked. As you have not registered with ANC and you manage to it get it from TNC, it should be fine with DHA. But TNC is not willing to issue it on the ground of technicality you may have to register with ANC and try to get it from there. Any way leave a comment here - how it works out for you. It may help others also who are in similar situation.

  2. My wife is a Bsc nurse studied at Mangalore.she got regisration from karnataka nursing council as life member.

She also got regisration from kerala state nursing council registraton from 2008 and she is doing work in kerala.

Now she is going to appearing the Ielts exam on the coming oct.

I have a doubt that whether the renewal of registration in karnataka is necessary for sending the verificaion certificte to european countries or not

  3. Hi Sabu, she has to get the verification from Kerala Nursing Council as she is registered and working in Kerala. There is no need to renew Karnataka Nurses Registration.

  6. Hello Anna,
I am a B Sc Nurse who passed out from Karnataka in the year 2008. After registering with Karnataka Nursing Council, I moved to Chennai and started working there with out TN registration for 2years. Later I worked in MOH Saudi for 3 years. Presently I am settled in Kuwait and got a job offer from a private hospital last week. But they are asking for Good standing certificate from the home country. As I did not work in Karnataka, KNC is not issuing it saying that minimum of 6 month working experience needed to get a goodstanding . And for TN, I dont have registration too.
Now I dont know what to do. Please help me to sort this problem.

    1. Hi Anu, I hope you are from Kerala, if so you can register with KNC and later you can apply for Good standing Certificate. KNC is not asking for an experience letter in kerala. Anyway you won't get a Good standing certificate neither from TNC nor from KSNC.

    1. Hi, A good standing certificate is issued by the nursing council, not an employer, as per norms it should get from a state or country where you worked for the last 6 months. Even if there is no employer, you can request for a GSC in the particular council, but the issue will depend on their policy, so I can't guarantee it.
